Summary: Oh boy...where to start. This place is definitely a 2 star hotel - it was decent, we chose it because it was close to Clifton Hill and everything we like was well within walking distance. That being said - I highly doubt we'd ever stay here again. Our stay started with no lights working in the room and the AC not working. The gent at the front desk during the day was super helpful and fixed everything for us. We booked a Queen bed with a hot tub. Bed was a double at best. I tried the hot tub - only to have it turn into a projectile water cannon that proceeded to spray water on my husband as he lay on the side of the bed furthest from the tube (guess this explains why the carpet was wet!). Room was clean - but housekeeping hammered on the door 2 hours before checkout and proceeded to try and unlock the door, all the while I'm in the bathroom topless yelling "we're still here!". Parking was okay - we were charged $15/day only to see a sign up later for parking at $10 for non-guests. Seems a bit of a rip-off for guests. Staff on duty during the day were wonderful - but I had to ask the girl working the desk in the afternoon/evening 3 separate times to send someone up to look at our broken TV. 3 times?? C'mon... All in all - it was an adequate place to sleep. I found the bed hard as a rock and the pillows too flat, but that could be personal preference.
