Escape on Reynolds is your small lake-town getaway in the heart of Detroit Lakes. Remodeled in 2026, this 3 BR, 1.5 BA home features a fully supplied kitchen for cooking, large dining/living space for entertainment, a beautifully tiled shower, central air and access to a full size washer and dryer and fully fenced in yard. We are a dog/kid-friendly home and are walking distance to the Detroit Lakes city beach, boat access, hospital, hockey arena, pavilion and many local restaurants/bars.
The space
KITCHEN/DINING:
Our beautifully renovated kitchen features quartz countertops, an electric range, microwave, dishwasher and all basic things needed for cooking during your stay. We provide basic small appliances (crockpot, blender, toaster, keurig coffee maker, griddle) for you to use as well as basic cooking spices and oils. Complementary tea, coffee, cream and sugar is provided as well.
Our bright and airy dining room has a table with a bench and four chairs for seating up to 6 to enjoy a family dinner, games nights with friends or arts and crafts with the girls. We also provide a high chair for your little ones to use during your stay.
LIVING SPACE:
Our living area is complete with a television and sofa/loveseat combo for sitting. Plenty of space to snuggle up and have a movie night in or watch the big game. We provide some toys and children’s books for use during your stay. A handful of family board, card and party games are also at the home for your enjoyment.
MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM:
The main floor includes a half bath, complete with a pedestal sink, toilet and beautifully updated tile walls. Disposable make-up remover wipes, reusable make-up towels and a blow dryer is provided for guests use as well.
MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM:
The bedroom on the main floor is right off of the living room. It includes a comfortable queen bed, ceiling fan, clothing hanging rack and a desk and office chair for remote work or extra space for getting ready. This bedroom also features a sound machine for guest use and has plenty of floor space for an air mattress or pack and play crib (both provided at the house).
UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS:
Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms. The first room includes a queen bed, television, ceiling fan, large mirror, vanity desk and two stools for remote work or extra space for getting ready. The second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds, a clothing hanging rack, a floor length wall mirror and children's books. Both bedrooms have a sound machine provided for guests to use.
UPSTAIRS BATHROOM:
This beautiful updated bathroom features a large vanity with quartz counters and a spacious walk in tiled shower with a rain shower head and hand held sprayer. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and children's shampoo and body wash are all provided for guest use in addition to both disposable and reusable make up wipes/towels, an infant bath seat and a portable toddler bath tub.
OUTDOOR SPACE:
We have a large drive-way that can fit several vehicles. There is street parking available in front of the house, but we prefer that guests use our driveway. The yard and back patio is fully fenced in. Guests will NOT have access to our garage during their stay.
*Due to us purchasing this home in the winter, we haven't been able to get photos or set up this space yet. Once the snow melts this spring, we plan to have outdoor seating, a propane grill, and a propane firepit and yard games. Keep this in mind if you plan to book during the summer months. We will update the listing this spring to reflect this.
DOGS:
We are a dog-friendly short term rental and allow our guests to bring dogs for a small additional fee. We ask that guests read our rules on dogs prior to booking. We provide disposable waste bags for pets, treats and water bowls for dogs to enjoy during our stay.
